WE MURDER
MOTHER EARTH!

Planet Earth is a living, breathing, biological entity whose ecological environments are held together in delicate balance. While it remains in this balance, healthy and alive, it supports an incredible variety of life forms among which is the human species.

Humans arrogantly believe they are the superior planetary species. Yet despite the obvious overpopulation of humanity on Earth, and the millions of people starving to death every year for lack of food, some never in a lifetime knowing a full belly, humans continue to breed like rabbits.

Americans irresponsibly contribute not only to the swelling human populations, but we stupidly allow our corporations to lead the way in the mismanagement of the planet's life-providing resources.

With their reckless cutting of moisture absorbing rain forests, massive gouging of unrenewable minerals from the bowels of the Earth, pollution of ocean waters, destruction of many fragile marine environments and wetlands that normally filter pesticides and urban sewage from the oceans, and their obliteration of seemingly inconsequential life forms, "businessmen" destroy the planet's delicate life sustaining balance.

And the masses of, presumably superior ordinary

American citizens, with their presumably superior brains, sit by and do nothing about the rape of planet Earth by wealthy Americans and their political puppets.

Together, corporations and the economic system called "capitalism" that fuels them, appear to be a magic flower that improves human life with its material benefits. In reality, however, the selfish and callous misuse of the combination produces a deadly fungus that oozes across the globe leaving behind environmental devastation, massive waste of natural resources, physical and emotional illness, and unimaginable human suffering.

Consequently, Earth is no longer the fabulously resource-rich planet it was, even one hundred years ago. But of even more importance, the pollution and massive deterioration of the ocean's health, combined with the injury to the atmospheric shield, has progressed far enough to change the planet's weather patterns seriously threatening the continuation of life on Earth

Yet Americans who hold the power to change this deadly situation do nothing but talk. Our national leaders don't care to solve the problems; they offer us nothing but talk and doubletalk while they steal and squander our national wealth.
